quirky towns

the smallest "village" in Fael:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/64/Mora_stones.jpg

the signs both face the structure and read "You are now leaving the village of...." The story is that this was, in ancient times, a thriving community of spiritual significance for the island. Over time the area was depopulated, maybe even sacked, and eventually the township was down to one family who more or elss farmed the area. when they passed, the "town" was reduced to the lot around their blockhouse, and a Resident installed on the payroll of the govt. this person is the state subsidy for keeping the "town" alive. his "job" is to live there. Whatever else he does is his business. It is not know if he plans to "increase" the numbers of citizens in town.

add san simmacho to the mix somewhere... http://novusordo.wordpress.com/photos/

next to or near Ubrisi-Gavia (perhaps near Servon or another spot on the riviera in general

  • Coperto- add a city called Coperto that is a silicon valley allusion. perhaps

in lito near the border with cauda in a defile high in the ridge...it should be a modern "model city" that is more or less a disaster. satire of attempts at "eco-friendly" bungled capitlaism. research apple.

  • Cicely

remote towns

for a small peninsular town:

and another: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feodosia

maybe as a good history for bouganvilla or a sister city of the sea wall's

underground feature for a city

city names for renames etc

i like the idea of towns originally being called place of a certain group, e.g.: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clanwilliam,_Western_Cape

Should be noted here that some of these names do not need be new cities but can replace overly .....appropriated....existing names. that is names used that already exist elsewhere on earth with their own etymologies. as much as possible names should be original. so consider this as source to replace placeholder cities. likewise can these names be drafted for faelish words
