Iurmos Pass, looking south into Valaduria.

The Iurmos Pass is a route through the Colhani Mountains, connecting the Ríocht Fíl and Valaduria. Since the Rhomines present a formidable barrier to travel and offer no other access south into the Vincennes Basin, the pass has been important since before recorded history. It has played a key role in the relative isolation (and therefore protection) of the ancient Ceniteq Kingdoms as an obstacle to both war and migration. The Iurmos, due to its great strategic and cultural significance, is considered one of the Gates of Faeland.

History

The Iurmos Pass was the crucial strategic objective in the Colhani Theater of the Second Faelish Civil War.
